Consistent service as always

Another solid experience with bp pulse. I've used their network countless times, and this time was no different. Found a working rapid charger easily through the app, started the session with my RFID card, and it charged up quickly. It's why I keep coming back, always reliable when I need it most for my commute.

Good value for money

I was looking for the cheapest way to charge my car while out and about, and bp pulse's subscription plan looked like a good deal. It really did save me a decent amount compared to just paying by contactless. The first month free was a nice bonus too. Felt like a smart buy.

Functional, bit slow on app

Used a rapid charger. Connection was fine. The app felt a little slow to load sometimes. Charged my car successfully. Got the job done.

Easy to use

Needed to charge up my car on the way to my sister's. Found a bp pulse rapid charger near a supermarket, which was handy. Paid with my phone through the app, and it just worked. No fuss, no drama. Good stuff.

Super fast charging!

I used a rapid charger for my EV on a road trip last week, and it worked flawlessly. Got a quick top-up in no time. So easy to use the app to start and stop, and the location was clean. I'll definitely use bp pulse again. Highly recommend!

Reliable charging experience

I've been a bp pulse subscriber for over a year now, and I mainly rely on their rapid chargers. This last experience near Bristol was consistent with my previous ones. The app showed the charger was available, and it connected without any issues. The charging speed was as expected for a 50kW unit. I did have one instance a few months back where a charger was out of order, but it was correctly marked in the app, which helped me find an alternative quickly. Their customer support once helped me reset my password in under 5 minutes too.

Anyone got a referral code or know how to get one for free credit? Trying to save a few quid.

J Julia G. 1 month ago
Sometimes new users get a welcome bonus or there's a referral scheme. Check out their social media or ask around, someone usually has one. They're often tied to specific campaigns.

I got some free credit when I signed up last year, it might have been an introductory offer. Keep an eye on their app notifications, they sometimes announce promos there.

Is it easy to cancel the subscription if I decide it's not for me? Don't want to get locked into anything.

B Brittany Torres 1 week ago
Super easy. You can just do it in the app. No weird hoops to jump through or anything.

I cancelled mine for a bit when I was away on holiday and it was straightforward. Just a few clicks in the app, no fuss.

Thinking of signing up for a subscription. How much do people usually save compared to just paying with my card every time?

K Kyle Taylor 3 weeks ago
Subscribers definitely get a better rate. I'd say it's usually around 20% cheaper than just tapping your card. Plus you sometimes get a free month when you sign up.

Yeah, the membership saves you a decent chunk. Especially if you charge often, it adds up. I think I got a fiver credit when I joined too, which was nice.

Thinking about getting a home charger installed through them. Anyone gone through that process? How was it?

D Daniel Nguyen 2 weeks ago
My neighbor got one done, seemed pretty smooth for them. They handled everything from the survey to the actual install. Took a few weeks from start to finish.

I looked into it, seemed decent. They do the whole thing, wallbox and installation. Make sure you check if you qualify for any government grants for home charging too, that can save you a bunch.

How fast are the rapid chargers really? Like, if I'm on a road trip, can I get a decent boost in 20-30 mins?

A Alex Jackson 5 days ago
Depends on your car and the charger's power, but yeah, 20-30 mins usually gets you a good chunk, especially if you're not trying to go from 0 to 100%. Like 50-80% is pretty quick.

For sure, the rapid ones are good for a quick top-up. My Kona charges pretty fast on them. Just look for the higher kW chargers on the app. The ultrafast ones are even better if you can find them.
